We are excited to be opening applications for our second Fellowship Program. We are looking for our next cohort of Research Fellows, Research Affiliates, and Policy Affiliates to join our team this summer. During this period, we will be working on several research and policy projects, building on the progress we have made over the past 12 months.
Applications from all backgrounds and nationalities are welcome. The Fellowship Program will be run remotely, however candidates who are based in New York or San Francisco will have a chance to meet with us in person. Fellows and Affiliates will be joining us as volunteers and will be given the opportunity to work on their areas of interest. We will not be sponsoring visas.
Research Fellows
You will be working with us on a part-time basis from June to August to contribute to our research and policy projects in exciting areas including commercial space policy, great power competition, emerging technologies, and the lunar economy. You will also have the opportunity to identify strategic opportunities which could advance the Center’s mission. Our cohort of 2023 Fellows will be joining a community of existing Fellows, Affiliates, and Members, many of whom are leaders in the space industry.
Research Affiliates
You will be joining our team on a flexible basis and will be invited to contribute to our research and policy projects. You will also have the opportunity to publish an article on our website. Research Affiliates will typically already be engaged in research that is relevant to space policy at another institution, adding to the diversity of perspectives in our team.
Policy Affiliates
You will be joining our team on a flexible basis and will be invited to contribute to our research and policy projects. You will also have the opportunity to represent the Center at events and meetings around the world. Policy Affiliates will typically already have a strong network in the space industry or policy community, adding to the diversity of connections in our team.
