David Jaffe

Research Fellow (2022)

David Jaffe, interested in all aspects of space policy, has authored articles, reports, and briefings on the subject for publications and policy professionals. In 2019, he had the privilege of representing the Stanford Student Space Initiative at the 58th session of the Legal Subcommittee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, where he worked with For All Moonkind to advocate for the preservation of human heritage sites in space. At Stanford, he is a research assistant to former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. (Ret.) H.R. McMaster. In his home state of Arizona, he offers political and policy support to Democratic candidates for local and federal office. David holds a BA with Honors in East Asian Studies from Stanford University and an MPhil in Politics & International Studies from the University of Cambridge. He is currently earning his JD at Stanford Law School.
