Bartu Kaleagasi

Director

Bartu Kaleagasi is a founding Director at the Center for Space Governance. He is also a research associate at Oxford University and a Fellow at the International Strategy Forum. Previously, he has worked in venture capital at Seraphim Space, innovation analysis at the European Space Agency (ESA), and co-founded the AIBE Summit on artificial intelligence in business & ethics. Bartu has a Law degree from University College London and a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University, where he was awarded a full-ride scholarship to conduct research on the future of space policy and AI governance. His research interests include great power competition, commercial space policy, sustainable development, and emerging technologies.
